In creativity of this musician have found reflection such styles as a rhythm-and-blues, a jazz, soul, the Celtic motives, the country, and it became the inspirer for many rock musicians, from Jim Morrison and Bruce Springstin to «Thin Lizzy» and «U-2». Van Morrison (a real name George Ajven Morrison) was born in Belfast on August, 31st, 1945. His mother was the singer, and the father owned a quite good collection of jazz and blues plates, therefore interest to music at the guy was showed early enough. In 12 years Van has got a guitar, and soon became the leader of school skiffl-group "Sputniks". In fourteen Morrison has mastered a saxophone and in new quality was a part «Thunderbolts». Then Ven has replaced some more commands, but the first success has come to it with group "Them" which it has based in 1964. Its song «Gloria» on which subsequently did covers such actors as «Doors», Jimi Hendrix and Patti Smith became the best achievement of that period.
In 1966 Morrison has left from «Them», but the manager of group Bert Burns undertook to untwist it as the solo executor. The first
