Classical representatives of a rock mainstream, the command from San Francisco under modest name Train went to success slowly, but is confident. It really reminded small, but a very persistent little train which, overcoming all barriers, little by little rises on the top of mountain seeming absolutely unattainable. Readout of ability to live of rock group Train has begun in 1994. The destiny has sent on errands the owner of a pleasant voice of Patrick Monahan from its native small town on lake Erie, the State of Pennsylvania, to the raging Los Angeles. It was at the very end of 1993. In a city of angels of Monahen has got acquainted with the same young adventurer Rob Hotchkiss, the vocalist and the guitarist in one person which has had time to take place by this time elementary school of a survival as a part of group Apostles. At guys was so much in common that the idea to create the group, meanwhile in number of two persons, has come by itself. So Monahen and Hochkiss, having two voices and one guitar (in the manner of Simon and Garfunkel), appear in San Francisco where as an acoustic duet play on small clubs and cafe.

But in due course to musicians it became close in a duet format, and then Rob Hochkiss companions on last group Apostles - bass guitarist Charlie Colin and one more guitarist Jimmy Stafford to the aid have come. And the last drummer Scott Underwood, the good friend of the bass player has joined.
