The Who the British rock group generated in 1964. The initial structure consisted from: Pita Taunsenda, Roger Doltri, John Entvistla (John Entwistle) and Moon's Whale. The group has got tremendous success at the expense of not ordinary concert performances, and it is considered as one of the most influential groups 60 and 70, and one of the greatest rock groups of all times.
The Who have become famous in the homeland as at the expense of innovative reception dissectings of tools on a scene after performance, and at the expense of the hit singles getting to the Top 10, since a hit single of 1965 «I Cant Explain» and the albums getting in Top-5 (including well-known «My Generation»). The first hit single got to Top-10 in the USA became «I Can See For Miles» in 1967. In 1969 left a rock opera «Tommy», become by the first album which has got in Top-5 in the USA, it was followed «Live At Leeds» (1970), «Whos Next» (1971), «Quadrophenia» (1973) and «Who Are You» (1978).
In 1978 the drummer of group the Whale Moon was lost, after his death the group has let out two more studio albums: Face Dances (1981) ( and Its Hard (1982) ( For shock installation have planted ex-drummer The Small Faces Kenni Johns. In 1983 group has definitively broken up. After that they reunited some times, for performances on special events, such as Live Aid, and also rounds, such as: the round devoted to 25th anniversary and execution «Quadrophenia» in 1995 and 1996.
