Participants of group The Libertines are the Englishmen, playing style punk revival. The group was generated in Great Britain, London in 1999 and has broken up in 2004. After, have reunited in 2010 to participate in Reading and Leeds festivals and to work over a new material. The group has let out two LPs, both made by Mikom Johnson from group The Clash. Having reunited Peter Doherty (a vocal/rhythm a guitar) and Carl Barat (a vocal/leader a guitar) while it is supported John Hassall (bass) and Gary Powell (drums) that the group was one of corner stones of an English independent scene in the beginning of 2000.

Participants of the best new British group of 2002 today widely know in pank circles. He/she is the guitarist and vocalist Carl Barat, one more guitarist and vocalist Pete Doherty, bass player John Hassall and the drummer of Ashes Powell Gary Powell. At the beginning of formation of collective the structure was a bit different. Though its skeleton invariably made Charles Barat and Pit Doerti: Libertines is first of all Charles and Pit, and then - all the others.
