Indie band The Killers were founded in 2002 in Las Vegas with four members - Brandon Flowers (vocals, keyboards), Dave Kening (guitar, vocals), Mark Stormer (bass) and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. (drums). The name of the guys took out the video New Order "Crystal" - it was written for percussion ensemble of non-existent, which appeared in the video. This was not the first version of the name of their team - they initially to be named The Genius Sex Poets, but fortunately for all, rejected the idea.
