The main poet-songbook and the leader of group The Decemberists Colin Meloy comes from a nice city of Portland. Once in the mid-nineties he still played alt-country in mean group Tarkio. Name The Decemberists was isn't taken casual: in honor of revolt of Decembrists and in honor of that month in which their first two albums which truly amazed all ''indi-culture'' and have surprised the whole world have been let out.
