Talking Heads discography
Talking Heads - the American rock group formed in 1975.
Leaning against funk, classical minimalism and the African fate, Talking Heads it was possible to create the most original dance music of ''a new wave''. Founders of group David Byrne and Chris Frantts together studied in one of the New York schools of design (Byrne is fond of design and painting and to this day); still before writing down the first album, the group has gone with tours to Europe, after its exit also constantly went on tour. And the album named «77», has got in American Top 100. All their subsequent works also entered in Top 40. Soon each of participants has begun solo career though the group and didn't break up - the greatest success in an independent field Byrne has reached: he also draws, he and music writes, he and at cinema acts in film. The group has officially existed till 1991. In 1996 the group has revived under name The Heads (without Byrne's participation) and has written down a new album.
The command has been based by the former students of design school David Byrne (the river on May, 14th 1952, Dumbarton, Scotland; a vocal, a guitar), Charlton Christopher Frants, and Tinoj Vejmauts. At first the trio acted under a signboard «Artistics» but after in 1974 friends have got over to New York, the group has replaced the name on «Talking Heads». At the first concert which has taken place in June 1975 in pank club ''CBGB'S'', they were noticed by the representative «Sire Records» Sejmur Stejn which have offered to ensemble to sign the contract with its firm. read more on Talking Heads Discography
