Sonic Youth left movement «no wave», the successor of the New York punk, it there was partially art, partially a punk who is amused with the composition of the elementary compositions, with a roar torn through primitive spells to endings which at all destroyed the common sense and decency rests. Self-intoxicated and unpredictable, Sonic Youth declared the punk the property and avant-guard the territory. The group was enough heavy for the student's public however not enough wrapped for an underground. The group used the reputation of an opener of unknown talents and has helped to make the way much of those who has changed subsequently the person of alternative fate.
Sonic Youth has been generated in 1981 by guitarists Terstonom Moore and Whether Renaldo, and also Kim Gordon. Moore has spent the childhood in the Betel, the State of Connecticut, Renaldo was from Lond Island. Both guitarists have arrived to New York after break New York a movement post-pank «no wave», and have started to play together with vanguard composer Glenn Branca, whose inconsistent, music became a basis for early creativity Sonic Youth. Moore Kim Gordon's girlfriend have expelled from art college, and she some time hung out on vanguard and «no wave» scenes, and in the summer of 1981 it together with Moore was one of organizers «Noise Festival» on which the group debuted alive.
