Papa Roach — a rock group consisting of four participants. California, the USA is formed in the city of Vakavill. They have got popularity thanks to the creation — three times to platinum album Infest (2000). The success of group was fixed by the subsequent works — lovehatetragedy (2002) and Getting Away With Murder (2004). Their fourth album, The Paramour Sessions, left on September, 12th, 2006. The fifth album which has received the name «Metamorphosis», left on March, 24th, 2009.

The group was formed in January, 1993 when Djekobi Sheddiks (vocal) and Dejv Bakner (shock) have met on a football ground of Vakavillsky High school where have got to talking about music. Soon Will James (bass guitar) and Andrew Saturli (trombone) have joined them. So the initial structure of group was formed. They have decided to take part in school competition of talents where have played a popular song of musician Jimi Hendrix under the name «Fire». Finally they haven't won this competition. The group has been named in honor of great-grandfather Dzhekobi Sheddiksa, Howard William Roacha (Howard William Roach) which friends and called simply «Papa Roach». In 2006 Howard Roach will commit suicide. The group will do to its justice in an album «The Paramour Sessions» and on live performances from songs «Roses On My Grave». Soon Saturli has been replaced on Dzherri Hortona (guitar) from the next Vendensky High school.Jeri has got acquainted with guys from Papa Roach through the girl-friend of that time who was their fan.
