Norman Cook was born on July, 31st, 1963 in Bromley (Great Britain). In 1986 it has begun the career by the bass player in group The Housemartins playing the melodious guitar priest with ironic texts. After its disintegration it has left in the dance music world, acting with such projects as Freakpower, Mighty Dub Katz, Pizzaman and Beats International. Norman Cook took high places in the British charts under six different names. Two compositions with its participation even steels ¹1 in Great Britain: ''Caravan of Love'' (The Housemartins) and ''Dub Be Good To Me'' (Beats International). After that Norman took to itself a name Fatboy Slim and under this name has let out the debut album ''Better Living Through Chemistry''. The album name concerned the American motto of 50th years, calling to calm hyperactive children the big doses soothing, and also was a note to friends from Chemical Brothers, helping it in a recording of the album.''
