Bon Iver – the most successful for today the project of the executor and the author of songs Justin Vernon. Its name, in all visibility, is the deformed form of a writing of the French word combination «nice winter» («bon hiver»). Project Bon Iver in the winter has been realized. Music debut and while unique album Bon Iver has been written down in picturesque mountain district of the State of Wisconsin. During study at faculty of studying of religions of the world and performance for a national team of the State of Wisconsin on football active Vernon was a part indi-fate of group DeYarmond Edison. Wishing to glorify itself outside of a native city, musicians have got over to Northern Carolina. Despite productive musical activity, on a new place at Vernon has not developed. It has quarreled with other participants of group and has left the girl. Devastated and disappointed, Justin has come back home. He has decided to begin life anew, having left in a hunting lodge in a northwest part of Wisconsin. Four months it has spent in a full solitude, hunting on deer in the afternoon and playing a blues at night. In this wild district in the middle of huge snowdrifts and dense woods it has found rest and has found inspiration. By Vernon's recognitions, it didn't leave in mountains to practise music and the more so to write down the whole album.
