Bjork (a full name Byork Gvjudmjundsdouttir, èñë. Bjork Gu?mundsdottir, Iceland) the Icelandic singer, the musician, the composer and the author of songs, the actress, the winner of set of awards was born on November, 21st, 1965 in Reykjavic. Its songs carry to many genres and styles, among which: alternative fate, trip-hop, a jazz, electronics, the indi-priest, ýòíèêà and classical music.
Musical career of Bjork has begun, when she was 11 years old. One of teachers has sent record of a song performed by Bjork on then still unique radio station of Iceland which has included a song in an ether. After that to it have offered the contract on a recording of the album, and in 1977 she has written down the debut album by means of the stepfather who played a guitar. There are the Icelandic children's songs on an album , and covers-versions of such popular songs, as «The Fool on the Hill» (The Beatles) on the Icelandic. The album became platinum in Iceland.
At the age of 14 years it has organized pank group under the name «Spit and Snot», and soon a jazz-fusion-project «Exodus» (1979).
In 1981 Bjork and the bass player «Exodus» Jakob Magnusson have formed group Jam-80 which soon has become «Tappi Tikarrass».
