Group At The Drive-In has been framed in Texas in 1994. In November of the same year on label Western Breed they let out the first single “Hell Paso”. In June, 1995 there is a second single - Alfaro Vive, Carajo!» At once it becomes clear that At The Drive-In aren't going to be at a stop.

In the end of July, 1996, having passed to new label Restart Records (Flipside Records), for 600 dollars have written down the first album «Acrobatic Tenement», it is simple freshen, young energy. The album has gone to musical shops, and participants ATDI - in the next round. Hundred days from February till June, 1997 have flown by in infinite performances on the USA. Month of a respite, and again in studio. The six-track minialbum «El Gran Orgo» is written down. In an early autumn of 1997 local public gets acquainted with this product and notices that ATDI now sound is more melodious. The group again gets ready for a trip, and is on the way knocked on doors of all indi-labels. Simply they don't have contract, and musicians aren't left by sensation that the following record by it won't manage to be let out. But somehow time in a bar where acted At the Drive-In, have come Bob and Michelle Becker, working in company Fearless Records. It is difficult to present, but Fearless Records, pop pank groups letting out mainly, have become interested ATDI so that have immediately offered cooperation.
