This day became critical in lives of the young soloist, the future Lady Soul, whose career entirely given to vocal art, has generated the highest standard of soul music to which very few actors came nearer. In the hypothetical file of Aretha many achievements could list Franklin: 12 million sold singles, 20 hits number one in a rhythm n-blues chart, 15 awards Grammy, a place in the Hall of glory of a rock'n'roll. And still - a brilliant role in a cinema masterpiece «The Blues Brothers», the National medal of arts accepted from hands of US president Bill Clinton, an award for protection of the civil rights, handed over personally Martin Luther King. And it only an iceberg top.
